Friends of Hope School held a Halloween night at the Hope Cement Lafarge Social Club on the 26th October, due to the recent problems we have had in the office, this is one of our the late entries to the blog. For our part we used our Green Screen set-up which lends itself to these types of events. Here are some of the photos taken the rest can be found online at http://www.derbyshirephoto.co.uk/buy-online/

This is an annual event held by the foundation to raise funds to fight heart disease. It was well attended event with over 700 walkers and some dogs taking part. The participants walked 17 miles on a beautiful frosty day, along the trail from Sparklow nr Buxton to Cromford Rugby Club. Here are some of the photos the rest can be found on our website.
On the 13th October the Buxton Branch of the RNLI Charity held their annual fundraising Ball at the Palace Hotel Buxton, which was organised by an ex Police colleague of mine, retired Superintendent Terry Corrogan. This was a Black Tie Event with lots of formal and fun photos on the night, here are some of them, the rest can be found at our Buy Photos online section on the website. http://www.derbyshirephoto.co.uk/buy-online.
The last show of the season for High Moor was on Sunday 7th October. It was a slightly disappointing turnout, compared with the other shows held, despite being a beautiful Autumn day for the event. Jill and the team pulled out all the stops again to make this a successful show, despite numbers. Here are a few of the photos we took on the day, together with the two trophies, Derbyshire Photographic have donated to the show. The trophies are for best young jumper and best groomed during the season. On a final note, I do believe our photographs made the Equestrian Life Magazine, for the November issue for the show, featuring Octobers High Moor Show Fancy Dress.
After a month of mini disasters, ranging from the prime computer crashing complete requiring for a complete rebuild with all the software we use. This was compounded with almost a month of the dry cough ‘man flu’ that’s going around. Then to cap it all the local telephone lines to the office going down for almost two weeks. The good news is that we are now up and running again with a backlog events to catch up with to post here and on Facebook.
